I look forward to getting to know you all and working with you over the next two years.
All I ask is that you embrace Sixth Form life fully, work hard and stay committed – to your studies, to each other and to this community. Your teachers and tutors are part of that team, so talk to us whenever something is on your mind and we will do our best to guide, help and support you.

Before you complete your enrolment, both students and a parent/carers must read the documents above. Completing the Admission Form means, both students and parent/carers are confirming that they have read, understood and agree to abide by the policies, expectations and agreements contained within these documents. Enrolment cannot be completed until this declaration has been made.
Admission Forms:
The Admission Form must be completed by both the student and a parent/carer. As part of this form, you will be asked to confirm that you have read and agree to the Sixth Form policies, expectations and agreements detailed in the documents above.

Internal Students
Students who currently attend Carshalton Boys Sports College should complete the Internal Student Admission Form by clicking on the button below.
External Students
Students joining us from another school should complete their admission information through Applicaa+. You will receive an email with a link to access and complete your External Student Admission Form.
Food Allergy Information
As part of our commitment to keeping all students safe, all parents/carers and students are required to complete our Food Allergy Information Form as part of the enrolment process.
This form must be completed for every student, regardless of whether they have a food allergy.
If a student has no known food allergies, you will simply be asked to confirm this.
If a student does have a food allergy, the form will collect further information to help us understand their needs and put appropriate support in place.

Prepare for September:
1 Summer Transition Work
To help you prepare for the start of your Sixth Form courses, you are required to complete the transition work for each subject you intend to study.
The transition work has been designed to introduce you to key topics, develop the skills you will need for A Level or Level 3 study, and ensure you are ready for your first lessons in September.

Please ensure that all transition work is completed before your first lesson. Subject lessons begin on Thursday 4 September, and your teachers will expect you to have completed the relevant work by then.
2 Equipment and Readiness to Learn
As a Sixth Form student, you are expected to take responsibility for your organisation and come to every lesson fully prepared to learn.
Before starting in September, please ensure you have:
A suitable school bag
Subject folders or lever arch files
Lined paper
A fully stocked pencil case (including pens, pencils, a ruler, a highlighter and any other equipment needed for your subjects)
Developing good organisational habits from the start will help you manage your workload and make a successful transition into Sixth Form study.

3 Sixth Form Paid Positions
Sixth Form students play an important role in the life of the school and have the opportunity to take on a range of paid positions throughout the academic year.
We will be recruiting for a number of these roles early in September. These positions are a great way to develop valuable skills, gain experience and contribute to the wider school community.

Start Time: 8:30am
All Year 12 students should report directly to the Sports Hall at 8:30am. The morning will include registration, course checking, and an opportunity to discuss your programme of study.
Friday 4 September
Normal Timetable Begins
Students should arrive by 8:25am for the start of the normal school day.

1 Bromcom, MCAS and Student Portal App
We use Bromcom as our Management Information System (MIS). Parents and carers can access key information about their child through the MCAS (MyChildAtSchool) app, including attendance, behaviour, homework (Work Outside the Classroom – WOTC), and the personal information we hold.
Students can access the Student Portal to view their timetable, homework (WOTC), and attendance.

If you need to report an absence, please let us know as soon as possible.

Planned appointments and requests for leave of absence can be submitted via MCAS or by email. Please include any supporting documentation where appropriate.
